Join the Freelancers Union Team

At our core, we believe the best roles aren't always pre-defined. While we don't have any official openings right now, we're always interested in exceptional people who can show us what we're missing. Tell us what position you'd create for yourself, why it matters, and how you'd make it indispensable by emailing us at resume@freelancersunion.org.

Legal Program Coordinator

Part Time

Freelancers Union seeks an organized and mission-driven Legal Program Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of its growing Legal Program.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for freelancers seeking legal assistance through our legal clinic, ensuring that every member of the Freelancers Union receives timely communication, appropriate referrals to our legal partners, and the support needed. The Coordinator will manage case administration, legal clinic logistics, and partner coordination while working under the supervision of the Legal Program Director and Managing Attorney.

While this is currently a part-time role, we are looking for someone who is interested in potentially growing into a larger part of the organization and a full-time opportunity through their work with the Legal Program. The role is ideal for someone interested in public policy, public interest law, advocating for worker justice, and working on a close-knit team, at a dynamic and growing city-funded organization.
