No, we do not allow members to use our address as their business address.

Yes you may. Generally the classroom is on a first come, first serve basis for short meetings. If you’d like to privately book it for an event or team meeting for multiple hours, we charge $60/hour to book. We do have a projector in the classroom and can organize the room in a way that best suits your needs.  The classroom can also be booked as the PhotoHub.  An affordable photography studio, in partnership with ASMP NY and MPB.

You can book the classroom/PhotoHub HERE.

Currently, we have 24″ monitors that members can rent to boost their productivity.  Monitors are either $5 or $10 for half day or full day bookings, respectively.  You have to bring your own computer/device to get your work done.

Members can also book time at the PhotoHub, a rentable space for photographers in partnership with ASMP NY and MPB.  At $60/hour, members can book the classroom space and includes comprehensive access to all equipment, including studio lighting, backdrops, and light modifiers.  Equipment can not be removed from the premises.

We accept proposals for workshops, classes, and event ideas on a rolling basis via this form. All workshops, classes, and event ideas should be oriented toward the freelancing community and fall within our designated areas of interest: freelancing 101 skills, contracts and legal issues for freelancers, networking and community building, health and wellness, finances and budgeting or more niched/industry specific topics. Apply to teach a workshop.

Since we are located in NYC, all of our events are Eastern Time. Be sure to take that in account if you are not local.

We record many but NOT ALL of our events. Some events may contain sensitive information of our members, so to ensure a safe environment those events are not recorded. Other events may not be recorded due to the request of our facilitators.

Yes, we still send any recordings, presentations or handouts to any of our members who have signed up for that event.
